The breadth of knowledge and the insight of Caroline Ashleigh Appraisers and Auctioneers offers its clients is a direct result of Caroline Ashleigh's formal training and extensive experience. A graduate of New York University's Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts, Caroline Ashleigh is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). She has received specialized training in Art Crime Investigation, by the founder of the FBI Art Crime Team, and completed Expert Witness Training by SEAK.


Caroline Ashleigh's professional background encompasses her art education at NYU in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Art, and with major museums and auction houses, including Heritage Auctions with offices in Dallas, New York, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Paris and Geneva. She has recently completed a corporate art appraisal totaling over 900 million dollars. Regarded as a leading expert in her field, Caroline Ashleigh is the author of a number of books and articles on appraising and connoisseurship. She·is an nationally known appraiser and has appeared on Antiques Roadshow since 1996, and serves as an art expert on HG-TV.


Ms. Ashleigh lectures extensively on connoisseurship, and is a columnist and author on art and antiques. She has served as a contributing author to the Antiques Roadshow Collectibles, the Antiques Roadshow Insider Magazine, Art and Antiques Magazine, All About Appraising: The Definitive Appraisal Handbook, and Warman’s Antiques & Collectibles Price Guides – 43rd and 44th Edition. ·She has been the subject of feature presentations in the New York Times, Art and Antiques Magazine,·and Forbes Magazine, and served as consultant to CBS News, "Inside Edition" on the subject of fakes and frauds. She is the author of Warman’s Field Guide published in 2010, and is a contributing editor to Antiques Trader Magazine.

In addition to hosting online auctions, Caroline Ashleigh Appraisers and Auctioneers also advises its clients on appraisal-related topics, including estate liquidation, market consultation, expert witness and litigation support, collection management, and restoration and conservation services.
